چکیده
Abstract Magnesium ammonium phosphate (MAP) precipitation generally requires an external phosphorus source to increase the recovery of NH 4 + -N from biogas slurry. However, P-rich piggery residue has been ignored as a source. In this study, was carbonized into biochar (BRC), followed by acid leaching synthesize functionalized BRC and release PO 3− -P its ash The effects different acids on efficiency morphological changes P in were investigated, slurry recovered with MAP precipitation. results showed that oxalic acid-hydrochloric mixed could leach more than 96% BRC, while weakening inhibitory effect Ca 2+ mainly composed inorganic P, most nonapatite IP apatite (Ca 3 (PO ) 2 leached during leaching, latter easily leached. Under optimal conditions, method had significant (96.4%) (99.3%) through chemical (forming MgPO ·H O precipitate) bonding -OH, C = C-H functional groups. final product also BRC-based slow-release N-P fertilizer rich struvite. This study solved disposal problems N-rich providing innovative technology for resource utilization faecal sewage at pig farms. Graphical

Large-Scale Biochar Production from Crop Residue: A New Idea and the Biogas-Energy Pyrolysis System
Biochar is an effective means to withdraw carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere and consequently influence the trend of global climate change. However, there still are substantial knowledge gaps for this idea to be applicable. One big question is how to produce biochar from biomass on a large scale. Our idea is to use biogas produced from agricultural wastes as thermal energy for biochar pro...

متن کاملA review of biogas production methods from wastes and sewage and the explanation of its process
Thousands of tons of urban solid waste and human and animal waste in cities and villages of Iran have endangered the health of the environment and increased the greenhouse gases. On the other hand, the increasing trend of energy consumption has caused energy crisis phenomena in the world. Moreover, the increasing consumption of energy from fossil fuels has caused emissions from these fuels. Hen...
متن کاملBiogas Production and Nutrient Recovery from Waste Streams
Waste streams such as municipal wastewater and animal manure contain organic materials and nutrients that can be converted and recovered for bioenergy and renewable fertilizer production. In the first part of this thesis, the anaerobic co-digestion of dairy manure with kitchen waste and chicken fat was studied for the purpose of increasing biogas production. The methane yields of co-digestion s...
متن کاملThe Potential for Biogas Production from Grass
Grass is generally considered as one of the major agricultural products and covers over 90% of Irish agricultural land. While useful as an animal feedstock it can also be used for energy production. Here batch mesophilic anaerobic digestion of grass silage was studied. The methane concentration in the biogas clearly showed that grass silage has a high affinity to produce a high quality methane ...
